Welcome to Cottage Industry Content. I’m Matt, a Boston-based creator of useful and user-friendly solutions for marketing, UX, and product departments. Since 2019, Cottage Industry Content has improved user experience and driven engagement for companies like Meta, FM Global, and Siemens. 

Over the past 15 years, I’ve worked in UX and held leadership positions in product management, content marketing, and search engine optimization. I’ve also run newspaper editorial departments, written a travel book, and earned a master’s degree in digital publishing. 

My approach combines the skills and best practices of several business perspectives that I’ve learned through experience:

My real job is to be a dad to three exceptional children. (I am highly proficient at transporting them to clubs, sports, and theatrical productions.)

I’m passionate about food and the local food economy and can cook you a killer bourguignon (beef- or mushroom-based).
